  • Absolutely. You can begin with our Planner Strategy & Operations Session or our self-paced course, Create a Planner to Sell: ThePrep Course. Both are designed to help you define your vision, audience, and next steps toward a successful product launch.

  • We recommend reaching out one year before your desired launch date.

    Timeline overview:

    • Custom Planner Design: ~4 months

    • Overseas Production: ~6 months

    Typical launches:

    • Calendar-year planners: September

    • Academic planners: May

    • Undated planners: flexible (9 months total recommended)

    Starting early gives you time to market, photograph, and sell before your release date.

  • Planners are our specialty, but we also design notebooks, journals, notepads, and stationery accessories to help brands expand their product lines with cohesion and polish.

  • Yes. You can begin with Custom Planner Design and later add Overseas Production Management. If you want a done-for-you experience, our Smooth Sailing Bundle includes both services for a seamless process from concept to cargo.

  • Yes! We collaborate with clients worldwide. As long as we can meet via video and communicate in English, we can handle your design and production seamlessly — no matter where you’re located.

Planner Design & Production Process

  • Definitely. We’ll integrate your logos, fonts, and color palette so your planner aligns perfectly with your existing brand.

  • Yes — every project includes thorough proofreading and pre-press review to ensure your planner files are completely print-ready. In 2024, our team proofed over 16,000 pages across client projects.

  • Our vendor network is proprietary and reserved for full-service clients. When you work with us for Overseas Production Management or Product Line Expansion, we handle manufacturer selection, communication, and logistics from start to finish.

  • We partner exclusively with SA8000-certified, ethical production facilities in China and South Korea. These factories maintain global standards for quality, safety, and sustainability, ensuring your products are made responsibly.

  • Most clients start with 1,000 units, balancing affordability and inventory flexibility. We’ll help you determine the best quantity and specs for your goals — whether you’re testing your first run or scaling a large-volume product line.

  • As your production partner, we manage every detail:

    • Vendor selection and quotes

    • Material recommendations

    • Proof and sample review

    • Communication and payment coordination

    • Shipping, customs, and delivery

    You make the creative decisions — we handle the logistics.

  • Expect about 6 months from order to delivery.

    Example schedule for a September planner launch:

    • Jan–Feb: Design & layout

    • Feb–Mar: Sample approval

    • Mar–Apr: Order placement

    • May–Jun: Production (6–8 weeks)

    • Jul–Aug: Shipping (6–8 weeks)

    We provide a final pre-shipment sample and can arrange air-shipped copies for marketing or PR.

Strategy & Education

  • Your Planning Philosophy® defines your product’s purpose, audience, and transformation. It’s the foundation of your planner’s success and guides every design and content decision.

  • Create a Planner to Sell: The Prep Course is our self-paced program for new creators. You’ll learn how to organize your ideas, identify your ideal audience, and create a clear roadmap for your planner design and production journey.

  • It’s not required, but highly recommended — especially for first-time creators. Completing the course makes your design process faster, smoother, and more strategic.

  • No one can guarantee sales — but we can promise a high-quality, strategy-driven product designed to meet your customers’ needs and strengthen your brand for the long haul.

Business & Policies

  • Yes. We understand the investment that comes with product creation. Monthly payment plans are available for both design and production phases, allowing you to move forward confidently.

  • For Copper Bottom services: We offer monthly payment plans and accept all major credit cards.

    For your print vendor: You’ll pay your factory directly via wire transfer.

    • 50% deposit due at order placement

    • 50% balance due before shipping

    We’ll walk you through each step to ensure everything runs smoothly.
